A short biography of myself. Not an easy task. Let's start at the beginning. I was born in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. This makes me Dutch. At least this was the case at the time I was born. Nowadays it is different I guess. The day I was born I brought the third nationality into our small family. My father is Egyptian and my mother New Zealander. This might not seem of great importance but it has always been an important part of my life. Not only did my parents bring different nationalities together, they also merged different religions, Christian and Islam, gender, ethnicity and world views.

Skipping ahead 20 years I decided it was time for me to see where these views, religions and other things that were part of me, came from and so I started to travel the world. My first escape as it seemed to be, lasted 1 year. I returned to The Netherlands to study Womensstudies. Not being able to be bound to 1 direction in life I decided to add on art school where I could use my creativity. I lasted 2 years before I had to escape again. Art, theory and becoming Dutch, it is the story of my life.
