Bastiaan Arler works with performances and visual arts. While adolescent he follows his family from the Netherlands to Japan, to Sweden and then to Italy. He has studied Industrial Design at the Istituto Europeo di Design and at the Futurarium in Milano. He has worked as concept designer for numerous studios before he opened his own design atelier 'Britefuture' in 1999. His designs were distributed in Milano, Berlin, Tokyo, and by the MoMA in New York. Since 2003 he works exclusively with art. He currently lives and works in Torino, Italy.
