be[com]ing: We want to use this term in the title to emphasise that people are always in development and in a process of change. We use brackets to make the difference between Fbeing' and 'becoming'. Being Dutch suggests that it is a definite non-changing situation - a normal stable role that we all have to enact. We want to think that, in fact, there is no fixed Dutchness. Our diversity adds to the sense of identity we share by living together and this process is in a constant state of change and development.
