ethnicitiy: Ethnicity is a legal and epistemological approach naming the dynamics of collective identification within a particular group by means of linguistics, religious beliefs, traditions or racial characteristics. This term has been particularly used to refer to populations that face a disadvantaged position in society, it ‘exposes’ their cultural characteristics against the normative majority culture of that place. But of course all cultural groups share cultural dynamics.
